Thank you Stacey for planning the trip of a lifetime! When our flight was cancelled in the Microsoft cloud storm fiasco, you were our hero — finding us a hotel for the extra two nights while we were stuck in the airport. We knew we were in great hands.
From stay-at-home mom to your trip's biggest advocate.
I've always loved to travel. As a young adult, I was drawn to exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, and stepping outside of the everyday. But like many moms, life shifted when I started my family. I spent years as a stay-at-home mom raising my three kids after moving from Montreal to Ottawa in 2008.
Travel didn't stop — it just changed.
Family trips became something I truly valued, even in the simpler years. When my kids were younger, spending time at an all-inclusive resort was our way of getting away together. It was easy, stress-free, and gave us the chance to truly reconnect without the busyness of everyday life. Even now, it's still one of my favourite ways to slow down and be present as a family.
As my kids got a little older, we started to travel in a bigger way. When my youngest was six, we took our first more adventurous trips to Italy, then Hawaii — and it opened the door to a whole new kind of family experience.
